Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Saptapadi Vivah. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Member") and Saptapadi Vivah ("Company", "we", "us") governing your access to and use of our matrimony platform at www.saptapadivivah.com and our mobile applications.
By clicking "Register", "I Agree" or by accessing any part of our platform, you unconditionally agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our platform.
Eligibility & Age Requirements
To register and use Saptapadi Vivah, you must meet the following eligibility criteria as per the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 and other applicable Indian laws:
Male Members
Minimum age of 21 years as per Indian Marriage Act
Female Members
Minimum age of 18 years as per Indian Marriage Act
Additionally, you must:
- Be legally eligible to marry under applicable personal laws
- Not be currently married (unless widowed or divorced and legally free to remarry)
- Be a human individual — corporate, agency or bot registrations are strictly prohibited
- Have a valid Indian mobile number or NRI overseas contact for verification
- Provide accurate and truthful information throughout the registration process
Registration & Profile
When you register on our platform, you agree to provide accurate, current and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

- Provide real name and accurate details
- Upload genuine, recent photographs
- Submit valid government ID for verification
- Keep contact information up to date
- Register only one profile per person
❌ You Must Not
- Create a profile on behalf of another person
- Use photos of another person or celebrity
- Provide false educational or professional details
- Create multiple accounts
- Share login credentials with anyone
Membership Plans & Payments
Saptapadi Vivah offers both free and paid membership plans. Paid plans provide access to premium features including full contact visibility, priority matching and dedicated relationship managers.
Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited on our platform. Violations may result in immediate account termination and legal action:
Fake Profiles
Creating profiles with false identity, fake photos or fraudulent information
Harassment
Sending abusive, offensive, threatening or sexually explicit messages to any member
Commercial Use
Using the platform for advertising, business promotion, MLM or any commercial purpose
Data Scraping
Automated scraping, crawling or harvesting of member data from the platform
Financial Fraud
Requesting money, gifts or financial assistance from other members under any pretext
Impersonation
Pretending to be a Saptapadi Vivah employee, agent or another registered member
Profile Authenticity
Saptapadi Vivah verifies profiles using government-issued ID documents. However, we rely on the information provided by members and cannot independently verify every detail. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of your profile content.
- All profile photographs must be recent (taken within the last 2 years) and clearly show your face
- Horoscope and astrological details submitted must be accurate to the best of your knowledge
- Educational qualifications and professional details must match verifiable records
- You must immediately update your profile if your marital status, profession or location changes
- Saptapadi Vivah reserves the right to request additional proof of any profile information at any time
Communication Rules
All communication between members on Saptapadi Vivah must be respectful, dignified and strictly for matrimonial purposes. Our platform monitors messages for abuse and fraud prevention.
- Introducing yourself and your family
- Asking about profession, education, family background
- Sharing horoscope details for matching
- Arranging family meetings through the platform
- Sending inappropriate, romantic or sexual messages
- Requesting personal bank or financial information
- Sharing external links, apps or redirect URLs
- Using platform for non-matrimonial personal conversations
No Guarantee Clause
Specifically, Saptapadi Vivah makes no guarantee or warranty regarding:
- The number, quality or compatibility of matches suggested
- The accuracy of information provided by other members
- The outcome of any interaction between members
- That a registered member will respond to your interest or message
- That using premium plans will result in a successful marriage
- Continuous, uninterrupted or error-free access to the platform
Intellectual Property
All content on the Saptapadi Vivah platform — including but not limited to logos, design, text, graphics, software, algorithms and matching systems — is the exclusive property of Saptapadi Vivah and is protected under Indian and international intellectual property laws.
- You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from any platform content without our prior written consent
- By uploading photos or content to your profile, you grant Saptapadi Vivah a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display your profile content to matched members
- We will never use your photos or personal data for advertising without explicit consent
- All trademarks including "Saptapadi Vivah" are owned by the company and may not be used without permission
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Saptapadi Vivah shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from:
Misrepresentation or fraud by another member
Temporary platform downtime or technical errors
Failure to find a suitable match through our platform
Loss of data due to circumstances beyond our control
Actions taken by members outside of our platform
Outcomes of meetings arranged through the platform
Our maximum aggregate liability under any circumstance shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for membership in the preceding 12 months.
Account Termination
Either you or Saptapadi Vivah may terminate your account at any time. The following may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination without notice or refund:
- Submitting false, misleading or fraudulent information in the profile
- Engaging in harassment, abuse or threatening behaviour toward any member
- Using the platform for commercial solicitation, scams or financial fraud
- Breach of any provision of these Terms and Conditions
- Court order, legal requirement or law enforcement request
To voluntarily deactivate or delete your account, you may do so through your profile settings or by emailing support@saptapadivivah.com. Upon deletion, your profile data will be handled as per our Privacy Policy.
Dispute Resolution
In case of any dispute between you and Saptapadi Vivah, we encourage first resolving it through direct communication with our support team. If unresolved, the following process applies:
Informal Resolution
Contact our grievance team at grievance@saptapadivivah.com. We will attempt to resolve the matter within 15 business days.
Mediation
If informal resolution fails, the parties agree to attempt mediation through a mutually agreed mediator in Hyderabad, Telangana.
Arbitration
Unresolved disputes shall be referred to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 in Hyderabad.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including but not limited to:
Information Technology Act, 2000
Governs electronic contracts, data protection and cyber crimes
Hindu Marriage Act, 1955
Governs eligibility and age requirements for matrimony
Consumer Protection Act, 2019
Governs consumer rights and dispute resolution
Indian Contract Act, 1872
Governs the validity and enforceability of these terms
All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
Changes to Terms
Saptapadi Vivah reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
- Notify all registered members via email and SMS at least 7 days before the changes take effect
- Display a platform-wide banner for 14 days after the changes go live
- Require re-acceptance of Terms for existing users if the changes are significant
Continued use of the platform after the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
